4 hrIngredients
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 small jar (16 oz) Pace Salsa
- 1/2 cup Water (to rinse the jar out with)
- 3-4 lbs Pork Roast
This may be my favorite college meal to share with others. It’s easy to make (although you have to plan for it), and it’s easy to share with others. I usually make burrito’s out of it when I’m sharing with others, but honestly it could be good with just about anything! Besides, Pork is cheaper than chicken or beef anyway.
Directions:
Sprinkle the Brown Sugar, and pour the Salsa and water over the roast. I cook mine in a cake pan, but any oven safe pan will work.
Bake at 275 for 4-6 hours. Another option is to cook it in a slow cooker for 6-8 hours.
You want it to pull apart when you take it out. Shred to serve.
